Khardung La Pass is considered the highest motorable pass in the world as per Guiness Book of World
Records. The pass offers astonishing views of the valleys and the mountain ranges around. Khardung La Pass is also one of the most dangerous passes in the world, hence a proper driving skills and physical health is required to visit the pass. It also serves as the link between India and Siachen glacier for the supply of goods and services. The stunning views of the different shades of mountains in the backdrop and crystal clear waters of Pangong Lake not only makes it a tourist attraction but also a famous spot for film and song shootings. And what’s eccentric about this lake is that it changes color from shades of green, blue to grey. You will get unlimited Instagram-worthy photos at this spot.

Day 1 : Arrive at Leh

Arrival Leh you will be met by our representative and transfered to the hotel. After Breakfast,Full day of rest for acclimatization to the high altitude of Leh (11,500 ft / 3500 mtrs). Evening walk to Leh Bazaar at a slow pace.Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 02: Leh Local Sightseeing (Shey – Thiksey – Hall of Fame - Shanti Stupa)

After breakfast drive up along the scenic Indus valley. Enroute stop over to visit the famous Shey Palace & Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Hall of Fame and enjoy an evening sunset at Shanti Stupa.

Shey Palace & Monastery

This summer palace of the erstwhile King of Leh is set upon a hill. The monastery itself has a 7.5 meter high, copper statue of a sitting Buddha, wrought in gold. This is the largest of its kind in the world.

Thiksey Monastery

19 Kms from Leh, Thiksey is one of the largest and most impressive Gompas of Ladakh. The Thiksey monastery provides a panoramic view of the green Indus Valley from its vantage point atop a hill. It has chambers full of statues, Stupas and colorful Tankhas.

Hall of Fame

Hall of Fame near Leh is worth a visit for every citizen. It is a glorious museum constructed by Indian army. You can see the memorabilia, eminent defence personalities with biographies, images and weapons used during Kargil war.

Shanti Stupa

Shanti Stupa is located at about 1km from Leh. It was built by a Japanese order and has wonderful views over Leh and the Indus valley especially at sunset. The stupa was built in 1980s and is a beautiful monument decorated with colourful paintings and enshrines large statues of Buddha. O/N Leh.

Day 3 :Leh-Pangong Lake-Leh

Full day excursion to Pangong Lake (approx. 300 kms round trip, located on the Indo-China Border), enroute crossing the Chang-la pass (alt: 17370 ft.). After sightseeing around the lake, drive back to Leh reaching in the late afternoon / evening. Overnight in hotel.

Day 4 :Leh-Khardungla–Leh

Morning excursion to Khardong-La (80 kms round trip / alt: 18,380 ft.), highest motorable pass in the world andrecorded in the Guinness Book of World Records . In the afternoon visit Shanti Stupa& explore local market.Overnight in hotel.

Day 5 : Drop to Leh Airport

Early morning transfer to the airport for taking the flight back home.
Tour ends… but sweet memories always remain.

The services of the vehicle is not included on leisure days & after finishing the sightseeing tour as per the
itinerary
Extensions of the tour programme or diversions in the tour itinerary for any reasons eg. due to bad weather, road
closure, breakdown or any natural calamities.

3) Reference No: As soon as we receive a booking request a file no. will be sent to you, please note the same for
future correspondence.
4) Re-Confirmation: All bookings should to be reconfirmed with us minimum 15 days prior to the date off arrival along
with confirmed arrival details, failure on which will be considered as cancellation.
